July 29, 2024: Indomitable Youth, Protest Continues…

In demand of fulfilling nine demands, students gathered at various places in Dhaka today. Clashes began at different locations after noon.
1. At Panthapath, the police baton-charged and chased the students during their assembly.
2. In Narayanganj, in front of the press club, Shamim Osman’s forces and the police attacked and fired at the students.
3. At the Mirpur ECB intersection, the police attacked and fired at a large gathering of students.
4. Sixteen students were arrested from the protest march at Science Lab.
5. In Uttara, the students couldn’t start their march due to obstruction by the army and the police.
6. Clashes are ongoing between students and others in Mohakhali.
7. Around 3 PM, students are preparing for protests in various areas including Dhaka College.
8. Students are protesting at Rajshahi University.
9. Students are on the streets in Thakurgaon.
10. Students are on the roads in Jahangirnagar University.
